Synopsis

FAMILY TIES PART 2 - LOYALTIES UNBOUND Catwoman narrowly escapes from the gunmen outside the Marquez Estate, realizing that they answer directly to Hector Marquez and not to either of his scheming sons. Soon after, she returns to Gotham and offers Hillary Hellman the information she had collected on the Marquez family. To her surprise, however, Hillary rejects the offer and states that she has nothing to fear from the Marquez family.  Interest piqued, Catwoman stays behind to eavesdrop, and learns that Hillary has a secret lover in Eduardo Marquez. Hillary has not only been using Eduardo to gain a foothold against the Marquez family, but had also set up her own father's assassination to leave her the undisputed ruler of Gotham's underworld. Catwoman changes her plans and rushes to the Marquezes' safe house with this information, but receives an equally cold reception from Paulo Marquez, who decides that he has no more use for her and orders her killed.   The captive Catwoman tells Paulo of Eduardo's treachery, hoping that the brothers will kill one another and leave her to free herself. The entire event is interrupted, however, by the sudden arrival of the Marquez family patriarch, Hector Marquez.
